Every day my boy reads the hourly forecast over breakfast. From 5pm on he says it will be "moony, moony, moony, moony." I took these pics for him last night to win our argument about where the full moon goes when you can't see it.
Last week I discovered my dream camera store in Nashville the exact week that they decided to sell off all of their old gear and get out of the business. I bought a lot of old stuff including a matching pair of 1967 Minolta MC Lenses. a 100 and 200 Prime. Today I went out to the fields near my house to test them out. lots of life left in these old things. At the bottom is a pic from a 1983 Minolta 80-200mm that I like as well.
Experimenting with my new camera. Using my phone as a remote control monitor for these night shots.
cold by the lake. light from weird blue clouds at sundown. made the water color nice.
Getting used to the cold before winter. My goal this year is to absorb the blow of cold weather and avoid the winter blues. Two cold little photo walks around my house in 1 night feels like a good start. Here are some more pics I took at sunset on a walk in the woods with my boy Colter.
